“He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.”
Psalm 1:3 ESV
Are you rooted?
Do your roots run deep
Or are you knocked over
With just a breeze
Where are you planted?
Is the soil wet or dry
Does it contain what you need
Does it satisfy your inner needs?
To be rooted
We must allow our shell to break
We must be watered
We must be in the right soil
Then the inside will burst out
The potential within
Does not first grow up
It grows down
In search for nutrients
In desire of stability
In preparation for maturity
The depth of the roots
Determines the potential height
The deeper the depth into darkness
The greater the chance to reach for light
Yet if you reach down
And it is dry
Your roots will wither
So the wise man
Plants by a stream
No matter the season
He is watered
His roots run deep
And his plant is nourished
He reaches for light
Produces fruit in summer
Relies on his roots in winter
Growing both down and up
Rooted Deep
